He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Anita (nee Michalak); loving father of Trisha (John) Guyer; adoring grandpa of Jillian Irene Guyer; cherished brother of his twin, John (late Marianne) Hruskocy, Susan (Anthony) Gajewski Vicari, Grace (John) Dabrowa and the late Thomas (Linda) Hruskocy; dearest brother-in-law of Thomas (Bonnie) Michalak, Rita (Ken) Zubeck, Carole (late Joseph J. Hruskocy, 75 of Whiting, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at his residence. He was born on July 21, 1952, in Sumter, South Carolina, to the late Rosa Mae Sanders and Joseph Linton. She is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, David VanHouten; loving mother of David VanHouten and Krystal VanHouten; adoring grandma of Emily Grace; cherished sister of Nancy Barbaro, Dolores Peacock and the late Dorothy Oreck and Richard Peacock; dearest daughter-in-law of Betty (late Charles) VanHouten; many dear nieces, nephews and extended Linda Van Houten (nee Peacock) 64 of Whiting, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at St. Catherine Hospital, East Chicago.
